1. He grew up with electronic music

Massano might have been born in the town famous for The Beatles, Liverpool, England, but he was introduced to electronic music at a young age by his father, who played tracks from artists like Faithless and The Prodigy. Undeniably, this early exposure laid the foundation for his future.

2. He’s a lifelong Faithless fan

At just 11 years old, Massano attended his first concert, which just so happened to be Faithless. The experience left a lasting impression on him, and he has credited it with deepening his love for electronic music.

3. He started producing while at university

While studying at Lancaster University in England, Massano took some breaks between lectures and outings to start producing music as a hobby. Although he was studying marketing, he initially considered working in various roles within the music industry, including management and marketing.

However, he eventually decided to focus on production and DJing.

4. He had a breakthrough track

Like many artists and DJs, there was one track at the beginning of his career that helped him turn music into his full-time job. His track “The Feeling” garnered significant attention and support from prominent artists such as Diplo, Fisher, Artbat, David Guetta, and Giorgia Angiuli.

Additionally, its success was evident when it became one of the top 10 most-played songs at Tomorrowland 2022. The track’s popularity also led to a remastered version in 2022.

Massano proved he was no one-hit wonder with his debut EP, In My System. The EP was released on Afterlife and reached #1 on the Beatport Releases chart. The track “Drown” from the EP entered the Top 10 across all genres, while all four tracks secured positions in the Top 5 of the melodic house and techno charts.

6. He founded a record label

Like many of the top DJs in the world, he founded his own record label, Eternity Sounds, based in his hometown of Liverpool. The label’s mission is to provide a platform for emerging underground artists worldwide, while also serving as the label he releases his own music under.

While he may have started in Liverpool, Massano has since taken the stage for fans around the world. He has performed at top venues and festivals globally, including Afterlife Tulum, Printworks London, and Time Warp Brazil.
