Australian producer 1tbsp has released a new single, “Pink Dress,” featuring Australian-Venezuelan artist Cherry Chola. The collaboration follows a series of recent releases, including “Rush,” “Dolly Destructiva,” and “Rosas Y Besitos,” which appeared on 1tbsp’s Hotel Living EP last year.

Speaking about the track, 1tbsp highlights Cherry Chola’s versatility as a key part of their ongoing creative partnership, noting how her vocals adapt across styles. That dynamic continues on “Pink Dress” and will extend into his forthcoming album bigsoaps, a multi-genre dance project set for release on August 7 via his own label dottidot and French imprint Recherche et Développement.

The single opens with electric guitar and Cherry Chola’s vocals — “Tengo una confesión / No soy tan dulce como mi corazón” — layered over dreamy, sway-like chord textures. As the track unfolds, it gradually evolves into a punchy 4×4 rhythm, driven by a heavy, club-ready beat that adds intensity and movement while maintaining its melodic core.

“Fabby is quite prolific, and since then we’ve made a lot of music together. I love how her voice sits on different styles, and we got to explore that more on Pink Dress and on my upcoming album bigsoaps,” 1tbsp explains.

The single is accompanied by a self-directed music video filmed in Sydney, featuring Cherry Chola alongside Soltera, with Sonido Sex on keys and drums. While the track was produced entirely in the box, the live-band aesthetic of the video reflects the track’s raw, dance-punk energy.

“We shot the music video in Sydney together with Soltera and Sonido Sex on keys & drums. ‘Pink Dress’ felt like a strong step into a more dance-punk direction, so it was fun to reflect that by having a band in the video, even though everything in the song was made on Ableton,” 1tbsp adds.

Later this month, 1tbsp will make his debut at Coachella Festival 2026, followed by a month-long residency at London venue Phonox this May.
