Australian producer Maxwell Byrne, better known as 1tbsp, shares his latest single, “Wet Peak Stars.” The single is a collaboration with Mexican artist Meth Math. Released on Thursday (Feb. 13) on the Sumoclic label, this is his first release of the year.

Following his successful album megacity, released on August 29 last year, 1tbsp has even bigger plans for 2025. Byrne recently announced his North American and Mexico tour. Starting Friday, February 28, he’ll play at The Great Northern in San Francisco.

Then, on Saturday, March 1, the artist will make his debut at the CRSSD Festival in San Diego and wrap up at Don Quixote in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 29.

The Australian producer will also debut at the Electric Forest Festival in June.

When it comes to music production, 1tbsp has a knack for crafting highly infectious tracks, and “Wet Peak Stars” is no exception.

Starting with a 707 kick drum and high-pitched vocals, the track immediately sets its foundation and tone. The Spanish vocals are introduced alongside a warm analog bassline. Believe it or not, we love this single.
