From the 1st to the 5th of June, the much-anticipated second edition of MOGA Caparica comes to Portugal’s breathtaking Costa de Caparica.

MOGA was born in the Moroccan city of Essaouira, which the Portuguese dubbed Mogador hundreds of years ago. It’s a small-scale electronic music festival with an Atlantic spirit that brings individuals from all over the world together through dance, music, art, and wellness. Moga is also a tribe, a large group of nomads who share common ideals and a way of life that stretches from Essaouira to Caparica and beyond.

After a spectacular debut last year, MOGA Caparica returns for its second edition. It was held in October to replace the Essaouira edition, which will be held in October this year, with MOGA Caparica relocating to June to take advantage of the summer weather.

This year, there will be an additional beach party on Saturday, for a total of two. A festival pass grants you entry to the beach parties on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as free admission to the OFF events taking place throughout the five days, including music, art, wellness, talks, food, and more.

Amine K, Morocco’s ambassador for electronic music, always brings happiness through his music, Ibiza favourites Audiofly, Istanbul’s fast-rising Carlita, Dutch duo Dam Swindle bring their cross-sectional grooves, Dan Shake brings his warm and heartfelt house sounds, and Folamour is part of the recent renaissance of young French house and disco producers with a deep love for all music are among the first wave of names. Parallells, among others, are well-known melodic house maestros. The duo is a regular on Agoria’s Sapiens imprint. Then there’s Mafalda, a Portuguese NTS favorite and co-founder of the Melodies International label, who spins a wide range of love-fuelled house, soul, disco, Latin, funk, and more, including Laurence Guy, Lola Villa, Madd Rod, Magupi, Shugi, and YokoO.
