Ukrainian duo ARTBAT joined forces with German producer Another Life for a massive progressive hit ‘Breathe In’.

The world of Underground techno has been taken by storm with the emergence of ARTBAT. The duo consists of Artur and Batish, two Ukrainians hoping to portray their intense emotion through their music. ARTBAT have created their own electronic music label called UPPERGROUND and it’s clear that they want to make a profound impact with their music as the creation of the label facilitates this. The label creates a thematic motif for ARTBAT’s music as powerful emotion is always at the forefront of the music. ARTBAT has joined forces with Germany-based artist Another Life to create the track ‘Breathe In‘ released this week. The collaboration has found instant success with the track gaining over 100,000 streams in just 48 hours, as well as surmounting over 60,000 views on YouTube.

‘Breathe In’ is a fresh track with sounds aligning with the 1980s synth scene. The song feels like it has multiple parts to it which is what keeps it so enthralling. ARTBAT illustrated that the song acts as “an uplifting reminder to pause, take a deep breath, and fully appreciate the world around us” and the melodic lyrics and vocals “let it scream on” solidifies this potent message ARTBAT want to portray in their music.

Another Life commented that “you can build the sound to create something that stays there and makes emotion” and with this emotion, he desires to make “people forget what is real.” The idea of letting listeners become immersed in the music is intensified by the visceral video and images that have come with “Breathe In” The video travels through each part of the song with two figures that eventually flow into each other and then lose themselves as the beat drops. The UPPERGROUND label has clearly been put together by multiple creative individuals.

Another Life recently joined ARTBAT in Istanbul to promote their fantastic release and it displays how well-received the track has been by audiences and how it will continue to grow and represent the progressive house music scene. Both artists will be embarking on more European shows as the year progresses.
