The German producer EINMUSIK teams up with Richard Judge for a super chill House single ‘I’ll Follow’.
Twenty years ago, EINMUSIK made his debut in the underground music scene, a scene in which he’s now celebrated. Taking influence from the work of Depeche Mode, Visage, and Kraftwerk, the German producer crafted his unique style of Techno. From that point forward, his 2003 debut EP ‘Weekender‘ showed that he was a force to be reckoned with and watched. His German dance chart debut ‘Jittery Heritage‘ and the first solo album ‘de, Medici’ further proceeded to cement these claims. All of these were just the start, as EINMUSIK continued to release music through labels like Diynamic, Bedrock, and Suara. For a bit, EINMUSIK even released music through his label, Einmusika, which he started way back in 2009.
This time around, EINMUSIK released his latest single, ‘I’ll Follow’ through Embassy One, a long-standing German label. He’s said the track “captures the essence of those special days, filled with creative energy…”, a sentiment that rings true. Dark, brooding synths and deep, mesmerizing percussion allow the track to immediately get off to a great start. Synths that feel more starry and airy proceed to layer themselves onto the track, adding to the neon-soaked atmosphere. Richard Judge, a British singer-songwriter who’s worked with the likes of Robyn and Frank Walker, maintains center stage, however. His lush, soulful vocals hell bring the love, passion, and creative energy the song surely desires to be filled with.
EINMUSIK proves that, even after being in the game for over 20 years, he’s still capable of making great music. To all the youngbloods wanting to get started in EDM, take notes from him and you could be next.
