The news of the legendary DJ’s situation was conveyed via an Instagram video.

In a deeply emotional revelation, the renowned dance music icon, Danny Tenaglia, courageously disclosed his fight against cancer. The news has shaken the music community, but he is receiving an outpouring of love and support from his devoted fans. Danny shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, where he revealed that he discovered the cancer at an early stage and is currently undergoing a brief and positive course of treatment.

In the respective video, he mentioned undergoing daily radiotherapy for a duration of six weeks, but he expressed feeling “great” and remained optimistic as he believes the doctors caught the disease early. Unfortunately, in recent months, he had to cancel several significant appearances worldwide, such as sets at Pacha, Ibiza, and Kappa Futur Festival.

“I’ve been wanting to share these words for several weeks now but as you might imagine, this is not the easiest subject to talk about. Also, I wanted to wait and see how well I would be tolerating the situation as news like this initially is scary AF. But now that I’m four weeks into treatments and feeling fine, I felt today was the day to share. I PRAY this will help people realize how important it is to get a colonoscopy after 50 and then every five years. Prevention is everything.”

The artist has received overwhelming support during this challenging period, with fellow dance legends like Nicole Moudaber, Victor Calderone, Dennis Ferrer, Enrico Sangiuliano, and many others expressing their condolences and offering words of encouragement.
