Ushuaïa Ibiza’s trailblazing underground party ANTS returns to the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) for a very special showcase on Thursday 17 October 2024. Today they reveal the house and techno stars who will provide a scintillating soundtrack to proceedings at the legendary canal-side event complex Hemkade 48.
ANTS continues to set all-new levels of underground party experiences, more than a decade after first bursting on the scene. The event is now synonymous with constant innovation on all fronts and is a proven champion of unearthing, platforming and nurturing next-generation talents through its annual mentorship programme. As well as its high-concept events, pioneering line-ups and futuristic production at its flagship Ushuaïa Ibiza residency, ANTS hosts its stages all over the world from Printworks and Tomorrowland to Snowbombing and Zamna.
All of this will be perfectly embodied at the Amsterdam ADE showcase which will feature a very special guest who will be announced soon, along with Swiss pioneer Andrea Oliva who is of course the beating heart of ANTS and who constantly redefines its sound with his electric blends of house and techno from the vanguard, as well as a stylish arsenal of his compelling productions. He is joined by Archie Hamilton who has long been the global face of tech house with his label and diverse mix of sounds from minimal house to classic and vocal via UKG.
Chelina Manuhutu is a powerful force who brings special house vibes from her adopted Ibiza homeland and whose most recent track ‘Module 5’ has been tearing up dance floors all summer. Versatile Dutchman Joey Daniel has silky signature sounds that pair minimal designs with balmy synths and seductive grooves as proven by recent underground gems like ‘Push The Mic’. Then comes Mau P, a breakout chunky house sensation whose smash hit ‘Drugs From Amsterdam’ still causes carnage on the floor. Last but not least is another Dutchman in Easttown, who has come up through the ranks and is now an in-demand selector with a famously deep and groovy style.
The venue for this unmissable event, Hemkade 48, mixes up industrial atmospheres in an old factory hall that boasts suitable standout production and a well-tuned sound system so that every kick drum will be delivered with real punch when ANTS is in town.
