In early 2024, re:abel released Otherside, an EP quickly gaining worldwide traction among music enthusiasts and curators. This project pushed the boundaries of his style, incorporating unique soundscapes and experimental elements that resonated with listeners and solidified his place as a rising artist in electronic music. The EP’s reception highlighted his skill in creating immersive sound journeys that captivate and challenge the listener.
Now he returns with exciting news of another EP in the pipeline. Leading up to the release, he’s dropping the single ‘Flying Colours,’ a track that hints at his evolving style and promises further exploration of his musical capabilities. Fans and newcomers alike are eagerly awaiting this next chapter, as re:abel continues to make his mark on the global electronic music scene.
Speaking about the release, Ryan says,
“With ‘Flying Colours’, I wanted to create a track where the build and release really felt like something was really being created and then destroyed – with the synths, arpeggios and drums all building and working together before crumbling down and giving way to a deep, rumbling bassline, then building itself back up once again. Building further upon the atmospheric nature of my past releases, but taking it in a more functional direction, I wanted to push myself to create a track that paid homage to all my biggest influences while also feeling fresh and new in itself.”
