Awards season has come again, and The Game Awards 2024 sums up the gaming community’s year. The Game Awards 2024 took place on December 12th. The choice to pick the most definitive titles of the year has finally arrived, and it was a tough choice to make. Not only that but big announcements of future projects and hopeful releases were made in light of these awards. Hopefully, 2025 might become the next defining year for video games.

It came as no surprise that Astro Bot won Game of the Year. With other nominees including Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and Metaphor: ReFantazio. However, PlayStation would come out on top with being the most-nominated publisher, picking up 16 in total.
