German producer Monolink has released his first song of 2025, titled ‘Mesmerized.’ The track is out now through Berlin-based label Embassy One and showcases a blend of electronic beats and emotional lyrics. Combining rhythmic percussion, layered synths, and reflective songwriting, the song creates an atmospheric listening experience. Its tone moves between introspection and groove, making it fitting for both dancefloors and quieter moments.
Speaking about the song, Monolink explained, “‘Mesmerized’ is a song about the gravity of human connection. It’s about vulnerability, surrender, and the fear of stepping into the unknown. It was the first song I wrote when we started working on my new album, and it somehow turned into the sonic journey that it is now.” The track’s exploration of deep emotions is reflected in its moody and layered production, which invites listeners to immerse themselves in its sound.
The release is accompanied by a music video directed by Nicola von Leffern. The video tells the story of Ava and August, a couple caught in a cycle of emotional struggles, toxic fights, and moments of vulnerability. Filmed on Stromboli, a volcanic island in Italy, the location serves as a visual metaphor for the volatility of their relationship. Dreamy and surreal sequences blur the line between reality and emotion, adding depth to the story.
