Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – April 24th, 2025
From the new studio, Sandfall Interactive comes their first game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This turn-based RPG offers players a brilliantly rendered fantasy experience.
It is set in a warped version of France, apparently in the late 19th century. The game seems to heavily utilize the turn-based combat system known to many who have played the Final Fantasy series.
Launching on April 24th of this year, Clair Obscur seems to offer an impressive visual experience for all who play it. It also promises intense storytelling. With such a unique world and a fantasy dystopian feel, this is a title to look forward to.
DOOM: The Dark Ages – May 15th 2025
The popular demon shooter is back with one of its most ambitious titles to date. Developed by id Software, DOOM: The Dark Ages offers a new, more medieval twist on the classic first-person shooter. This game promises plenty of demon slaying and intense combat to fill any player’s boots. As a prequel to DOOM (2016), it seems like the story will be gripping to follow.
Long-standing fans of the DOOM franchise will instantly recognize the hellish atmosphere. With plenty of combat to experience, this title doesn’t forget the other core pillars of gameplay. It offers sections of exploration scattered between glorifying battles with demons.
South of Midnight – April 8th 2025
From the developers of We Happy Few comes a brand-new title that promises an intriguing story bringing legends to life. The newly released trailer reveals that players will follow Hazel, an unlucky protagonist, on her journey to uncover her fate and come to terms with her new powers as a Weaver.
Transported from her home into a dark and magical world, she finds that nothing works as it used to, and her whole reality is flipped on its head.
South of Midnight appears to showcase a unique and innovative story with beautiful graphics and a painted art style. Coming April 8, 2025, it might be time to mark this one on your calendars.

Ninja Gaiden 4 – Fall 2025
Returning to consoles after almost a decade, the classic and action-packed Ninja Gaiden series makes its return with its fourth installment. Ninja Gaiden 4 follows protagonist Yakumo and their journey, which takes them to the heart of Tokyo.
Along the way, they will encounter various enemies and fiends, each presenting unique challenges. One formidable opponent, in particular, is the legendary master ninja, Ryu Hayabusa.

Despite its original 2008 release, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black offers a graphical remaster of the classic and highly acclaimed title.
Avowed – February 18th 2025
Coming from the developers who brought us Fallout: New Vegas is an impressive new and mysterious title, Avowed. Set in its own fictional world of Eora, Avowed promises to be a first-person fantasy-action RPG with plenty of story and action to enrich its gameplay.
Launching on February 18, this title will soon be upon us, and those with access to Xbox Game Pass will be able to play it on Day One.
