Cairo-based producers Auf and Fade Republic have teamed up for their collaborative single, “Break A Way.” The release is out now via MAHOOL Records, a sublabel of MDLBEAST. Have an exclusive first listen to “Break A Way” below.

“Break A Way” is the label’s eighteenth release and is part of the Portal 001 compilation, which features six tracks from various artists.

The single features rich sound design, euphoric vocals, an uplifting breakdown, and a bombastic drop. In a crowded and saturated melodic techno scene, it’s rare to hear something as outstanding as this.

Auf shares, “The harmony, the textures, and the emotions all aligned effortlessly, as if the music was speaking for itself.” And that sentiment is felt throughout the track, evoking deep emotions.

When asked about their collaborative process, Auf explains, “When we create together, it’s more than just producing a track—it’s a conversation without words, a shared instinct that flows naturally.”
