Amsterdam-based producer Xamount makes his debut on the fresh label Famous When Dead Records with “Together.” Following the label’s previous release by British artist Syncia, “Another One,” this time Xamount surprises with a UK Garage single.

Erik Flanagan, who started his music career at just 17 under the alias DJ Flanagan, was deeply inspired by the underground music scenes of the UK, particularly Jungle and DnB. He’s also the mastermind behind That Garage Sound events in the Netherlands.

“Together” highlights Xamount’s love for both House and Garage music, and it’s clear in the track’s sound. He blends shuffling hats, a classic organ vibe, solid drums, and an unexpected seagull sound.

“I was inspired by the sound of seagulls when I was at the beach, so I wanted to incorporate that into the track,” the artist shares.

On April 5th, Xamount will be performing at Kopstootbar in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He’s also working on new collaborations with Dutch producers Jeftuz and Michael Pieterse.
