Although summer has officially come to a close, DJ and producer Tommy Veanud delivers his reimagined version of Lana Del Rey’s hit “Summertime Sadness,” out now via his imprint, TV Recordings. The new take builds around African-inspired rhythms and sounds.

Born Artem Dunaev, the Belarus-born artist also performs under his alias Prime Punk. With more than 15 years of experience, Veanud has played festivals across 12 countries and took the stage at Ultra Europe twice in 2024.

Last month, he released the collaborative single “Rumba” with Idd Aziz and Darksidevinyl on German imprint Déepalma Records.

“The song you want to dance barefoot to in the summer rain, the one that makes you fall in love, dream deeply, notice every bright spot in each day, and look ahead to the future with hope and faith,” Veanud says of his latest release.
