Trance icon Armin van Buuren has teamed up with techno breakout Lilly Palmer for a new double single, “Ayi Giri / Dopamine Machine.” The release marks the first collaboration between the two artists and arrives via van Buuren’s Armada imprint.
“Ayi Giri” is featured on our official playlist Selections.
Palmer first entered van Buuren’s orbit with her rework of his track “Blah Blah Blah,” which has surpassed six million streams on Spotify and received global club and radio support. Since then, she has appeared across Armada platforms, including a guest mix on A State of Trance Episode 1157 in January 2025, followed by an ADE marathon set later that year.

Both tracks were developed for the pair’s face-to-face performances in 2025, with “Dopamine Machine” first teased during a one-hour joint set in Mexico in November.
“Ayi Giri” leans into driving percussion, sharp synth work, and hypnotic vocal repetition, while “Dopamine Machine” pushes into heavier territory with pounding kicks, distorted textures, and a tense lead melody.
The artists shared in a joint Instagram post: “So happy we finally got together on these, we made them especially for our F2F sets last year and now they’re yours to enjoy.”
