Underground Paris club FVTVR will host Detroit Love, the global concept founded by Carl Craig, on May 9 for a 12-hour event spanning two floors and four rooms.
Created as a platform to celebrate and amplify the sound of Detroit, Detroit Love reflects Craig’s deep connection to his hometown and its musical heritage. The project serves as his way of sharing that influence worldwide, spotlighting the city’s legacy while reinforcing its ongoing impact on global electronic music culture.

The Paris edition will feature Craig alongside Moodymann, a live performance from Mike Banks, and Juan Atkins, assembling a lineup rooted in Detroit’s foundational techno movement.
This fourth edition at FVTVR further establishes the venue as a Paris home for Detroit Love, offering extended formats designed for immersive, technically focused performances.
Originally launched during Amsterdam Dance Event 2014, the concept debuted with appearances from Recloose, Moodymann, and Mad Mike Banks, with Craig closing the night using an advanced four-CD-deck setup that incorporated live editing, looping, sampling, and layered sound design.
