Matthias Meyer, Yulia Niko, Robag Wruhme, Blond:ish, Stavroz [band], Kevin Valentine (live), Nasiri (live), and soundofoz, among many others, will perform at the Gardens of Babylon’s first Amsterdam music event on May 14th at Noorderlicht and NDSM in Noord.

You may have found yourself in an intentional condition of hibernation after a lengthy winter maelstrom of constraints and lockdowns, and consequently unavoidable letdowns and setbacks. After a period of transformation and change, it’s time to rise from your slumber. Spring has arrived, beckoning us to emerge from our cocoons as vibrant butterflies.

We urge you to wear your most colorful outfit to extend your wings and flutter freely as we transform the NDSM dock into a garden of vibrant hues and inspiration.

DJs, live bands, acts, immersive performances, speakers, spiritual activities, and much more will be featured on three stages. The first stage features 12 hours of music by Kompakt affiliate Blond:ish, a full band show from Stavroz, who are known for infusing electronic music with an overall ethnic, acoustic, and organic vibe, and an electric back-to-back with Madmotormiquel and Sarah Wild. Arabella Memdouh, Arabella Memdouh, Niv Ast [live], and the Kalaha Moon band are also performing.

Long-time Watergate resident Matthias Meyer, leftfield studio wizard and genre-bending DJ Robag Wruhme, Berlin-based Yulia Niko, who releases on Damien LazarusRebellion imprint, as well as a hybrid show from Garden City Movement and a set from Sinai, are among the innovative talents from the worlds of house and techno who will perform in Area 2.

Soundofoz, live shows from Nasiri, Kevin Valentine, and Nawras Altaky, as well as more from Breath & Energy, Salmaan, and Hamada’s Dabkeh, are all featured in Area 3.

Tickets for The Gardens Of Babylon are now on sale at tickets.twelveticketing.eu.
