Try to listen to the sky as if it could sing; when a set of whispers from nature merges with the power of thunder, creating intense, almost orchestral ambiences in the overall soundscape. Turn that into an electronic music perspective and we have an abstract explanation for REFILL’s rich Melodic Techno infusion on their debut EP, “Stormy Weather“.

The project begins with “Forest At Midnight“, demonstrating, right at the beginning, the obscure proposal of the musical signature of the artist XX, with linear grooves and mentions of Acid Techno. Then “Renaissance Of Love” invites us to enter more melancholic ambiences through a more robust volume of synths, complementing an ethereal and abundant build-up.

Finally, the track that gives name to the EP, “Stormy Weather“, closes in great esteem the almost poetic electronic height of REFILL. Here, he chooses simplicity in the break and in his drums to bring out the dark feelings that overcome the strong kicks. An excellent work, which we are very proud to present at Prototype Music.
