The new festival concept Saraab, to be held December 1-2, 2022, in the heart of the Red Sea Mountains of Il Monte Galala by Tatweer Misr, has been created byGanz Extraordinaire & Astral Element.

Saraab is a unique, two-day electronic music festival with a stunning backdrop of the Red Sea’s beautiful highlands. Saraab, which will take place over the course of two days across two major stages and a marketplace, will have a venue capacity of 3000 spectators with some of the biggest names in the electronic industry performing back-to-back.

As part of Saraab’s efforts to highlight local and emerging talent, the marketplace will feature vendors of various kinds in addition to two performing stages and a smaller stage with up-and-coming artists.

In addition to creating a market where individuals can exchange their interests and goods, such as vintage items, art pieces, and clothing, Saraab is also bringing together DJs and visual artists. The market will also feature tantalizing food pop-ups.

Due to its unadulterated natural beauty and space, the exclusive venue in Il Monte Galala is the ideal setting for the event. The site is large and adaptable, has a stunning view of the mountains and the ocean, and is approximately one hour from Cairo.

Polo & Pan, Maceo Plex, Âme, Éclair Fifi, Mano Le Tough, Bas Ibellini, Terr, Lamache, Maher Daniel, Gerd Janson, D’Julz, Salomé Le Chat, William Djoko, as well as local heroes Misty, Chiati, Aroussi, DNGR GNGR, and Maie have all been added to the lineup.
