Time Warp is finally returning to Mannheim, it’s spiritual home, in a long-awaited and undoubtedly emotional performance.
The major festival will make you dance once more to Mannheim’s Maimarkthalle on Saturday, 1 April 2023. Over 40 headliners will be among a mix of seasoned performers and thrilling debutants.
Time Warp has always been at the forefront of innovative music, and the 2023 lineup is no exception. There is a wealth of fascinating new talent emerging alongside some of the festival’s most well-known friends, ready to make their imprint on the discriminating public. More than 19 hours of music will be played, featuring artists like Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Dixon, DJ Koze, Gerd Janson, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, KiNK live, Laurent Garnier, Loco Dice, Nina Kraviz, PAN-POT, Paula Temple, Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Rødhåd, Seth Troxler, Sonja Moonear, Sven Väth, The Blessed Madonna, The Martinez Brothers and tens more.
Large fair hall Maimarkthalle played host to the first Time Warp way back in 1995. The entire venue will be available for this unforgettable reunion of the electronic music world in 2023, the first time in four years. The two significant floors are presented by the Maimarkthalle, and two more dance floors will be added by various large outdoor tents and the Maimarkt-Club. There will be a glass pavilion in the outside space as well, which will create a unique environment and some absolutely spectacular moments early in the morning with six stories of activity.
As the 30th-anniversary edition draws near, attention is turning to the place where Time Warp’s illustrious heritage first took shape. A truly historic edition of Time Warp will be held next spring as a result of the pent-up party energy that will be present after such a long absence and the reunion of the music-loving community that is the foundation of the festival.
