DJ, podcaster, and producer N1NJA, whose real name is Farah Nanji makes a prolific debut on Mobilee Records with the two-track ‘A Frequency Illusion’ EP.

Beyond her artistic endeavors, London-born artist N1NJA has had a significant influence. Her TEDx Talk on overcoming neurodiversity as a musician and interviews with notable figures in the industry like Carl Cox and Alan Fitzpatrick for her top-rated podcast series Mission Makers have dispelled many of the biggest myths surrounding the underground music scene. Her DJ sets and creations combine influences from her roots in the Indian and African subcontinents.

The title track is a mesmerizing journey through euphoric soundscapes that carry the listener to a celestial landscape. A hypnotic fusion of organic percussion, soaring pads, and shimmering synth lines reflects the dexterity of a ninja.

The next track, London Blues is a slow-growing track that explores sparser electronic landscapes. An apparent blues guitar lead that ebbs and flow between the intricate pockets of space, guided by cavernous bass stabs and tribal percussion, creates a dramatic climax inspired by the streets of London.

Speaking about the release, Farah says:

Based on the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon, ‘A Frequency Illusion’ is a hypnotic progressive techno track that draws inspiration from the elusive, mysterious nature of ninjas and how sound can alter the perception of time and space
