Thrive Music/Capitol Records today released a big new remix from DJ/producer ACRAZE and chart-topping, GRAMMY®-nominated Galantis to kick off 2023.
When it was released in the fall of last year, ‘Believe‘ was included on 43 New Music Friday playlists and received rotations from BBC Radio 1 and prominent Top 40 stations all around the world. The song is ACRAZE’s follow-up to their breakthrough hit ‘Do It To It‘ (featuring Cherish), which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s list of the Top Hot Dance/Electronic Songs of 2022 and racked up over 12 billion combined streams globally, going Gold or Platinum in 14 nations. ‘Do It To It’ entered the Top 20 at Top 40 radio in the United States and was named the Dance Song of the Year 2022 iHeartRadio Music Award winner. The song was chosen by Pepsi Wild Cherry for a significant advertising campaign after topping the Beatport and UK dance charts. After the ‘Do It To It‘ dance on TikTok became incredibly popular online, Fortnite recently introduced a new Emote that incorporates the song.
During his Do It To It tour, which brought him to 19 countries and featured headlining slots at festivals including Ultra, Tomorrowland, and Sensation, ACRAZE gave ‘Believe‘ its live debut. He also shared the stage with DJ Snake at his stadium event in Paris’ Parc des Princes, where 80,000 people attended. He will appear at Breakaway Carolina and at ILLENIUM’s Memorial Day weekend festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington state in 2023.
Galantis, who just released the critically acclaimed single ‘Damn (You’ve Got Me Saying)‘ with David Guetta & MNEK, brought the year 2022 to a close with a performance at Countdown NYE in Southern California, and they will perform at EDC Mexico on February 26. One-third of Miike Snow and the leader of the joint project Galantis, Christian Karlsson (aka Bloodshy), has received over four billion total international streams and over one billion video views. Due to the success of the Platinum-certified, GRAMMY-nominated smash ‘Runaway (U & I)‘ and the RIAA Gold song ‘Peanut Butter Jelly,’ Pharmacy, the debut album by Galantis, topped the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. The Aviary from 2017 debuted in the top 10 in 23 different countries and has the Platinum single ‘No Money.’ The RIAA Gold-certified single ‘Faith‘ by Dutch singer-songwriter Mr. Probz and country music legend Dolly Parton is featured on the third Galantis album Church.
