French electronic music duo Quentin and Loris, known as Angara, have released their new single “Out at Sea” via Berlin-based label Embassy One, featuring Austrian vocalist Ren Ocean. The track, described as “stirring and cinematic,” dropped last Thursday, November 27.
The duo’s friendship began in the early 2000s, when Quentin and Loris first met and bonded over a shared passion for music. Following a period apart, they reunited to form Angara, now touring across Europe and releasing music on respected labels.
Originally conceived under the project name “Deliverance,” the track evolved into “Out at Sea” after Ren Ocean helped crystallize the concept.
Angara explains, “A memory about love, a connection that over time turned into something else, drifting in a sea of possibilities.”
