Sydney-based producer Arky Waters has released his new single “Ay Papi” via Mammal Sound Records. The track follows his previous release, “Holdin’ On,” which arrived on October 30.
Alongside the new single, Waters also teased his forthcoming debut album, expected to arrive in early 2026. While it’s still unclear whether “Ay Papi” will appear on the record, the announcement marks an exciting next chapter for the rising producer.
Arky Waters first gained attention with his unofficial remix of Tame Impala’s “Nangs,” and has since released more than sixteen tracks.
Speaking about “Ay Papi,” Waters says he experimented heavily with analog synths, exploring the roots of many of his favorite early electronic records.
“It’s been really fun merging those classic sounds with modern production techniques,” he adds.
