Brazilian producer Bhaskar and London-based duo JADED team up for a mind-opening single ‘When I See It’.
For Bhaskar, EDM music embodies a life of art and, when growing up with DJs for parents, just seems inevitable. At age 12, Bhaskar decided to take his parental inspiration and forge his own musical path, initially as a hobby. Before long, Bhaskar collected hits like ‘Fuego‘, toured across the world, and collaborated with artists like Dubdogz, Wankelmut, and Anitta. Recently, London duo JADED contacted the Brazilian DJ for a possible collaboration opportunity, an offer which he gladly accepted. As a result, ‘When I See It‘ emerged as the end product, a philosophical masterpiece that’s both dancey and thought-provoking.
‘When I See It’, as a single, lends a feeling of timelessness, invoking elements of 80s and 2000s EDM music. Jumpy beats and groovy synths encapsulate the track’s vibe, giving it the aforementioned dancey sensibility and club levels of energy. A trippy bassline gives the track a hypnotic feeling that’ll be sure to keep listeners grooving along to the beat. However, the lyrics and vocals push the track to philosophical levels, thanks in most part to guest vocalist The Vic. As a result, ‘When I See It’ presents itself as a track that challenges the listener to find THEIR vibe.
Bhaskar and JADED produced a near-perfect track that both captures their combined sounds and gives the listeners a genuine challenge.
