BIJOU is back with his newest single, ‘Six Shots,’ following a year filled with explosive releases and a hugely successful 23-date run on his ‘Stay Fly’ tour with bass-house ruler Martin Hørger.

The most recent release from the Phoenix-based DJ and producer, a dominant figure in the electronic dance music industry, comes hot on the heals of his October smash ‘Gang Gang‘ and November duet ‘Rude Boy‘ with Pajane on Spinnin’ Records. Six Shots, which has a home on Do Not Duplicate Recordings (DND Recs), is out now and may be streamed on all platforms.

Six Shots‘ is a vivacious offering that immediately gets things going with a thumping bassline, a dominating vocal cut, and a feel-good house vibe. The song has four-on-the-floor vibes throughout and audibly has a hard-hitting atmosphere and a driving propulsiveness. The newest release from BIJOU oozes with an unquenchable groove and contagious energy that is ready to take over dancefloors everywhere. It builds a transmittable fire throughout its whole.

I wrote this record 8 months ago with the intention of it lighting up the festival stages all summer long. It did just that with better reaction than I even anticipated with it also lighting up the clubs. The goal was to write an infectious baseline to get every person on the dance floor shuffling their asses off. The steel drum lead gives it an island summer vibe to compliment the short but sweet vocal loop. The vocal gives off confidence and I wanted to give every person that same feeling letting them know that they’re meant to be here and are the truth. I’m super stoked for this one to finally hit the airwaves and spread worldwide.
