In June, renowned house artist Bontan made a highly awaited return to Hot Creations.

Giving us Gold Teeth, a two-track EP, the UK native continues a stellar 2022 that has already seen him release on Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound last month. It features him at his best and is a gift to us.
As soon as Gold Teeth begins, shamanic-sounding beats induce a dreamy feeling as echoing vocals embellish the track. Heart Shaped Leaf starts with a techy edge before beginning with shimmering maracas and rhythmic hi-hats. Spacey words repeat nearby as cow bell-like percussion undulates beneath a low-slung bassline to create a peak-time, club-ready track.

With Gold Teeth, I set out to make a record that wouldn’t be out of place at both a festival and dark club. The percussion locks you in, giving the record a hypnotic feeling.
