The new EP features two explosive tracks. The title track, ‘Azteca‘, is built on a menacing bassline and hammering kick drum, with industrial percussion pushing the rhythm forward in a relentless manner. The EP’s second track, ‘Rain God/War God,‘ opens with atmospheric synths that build suspense before unleashing hard-hitting percussion and booming pads. Aggressive vocal chants elevate the track’s intensity, making it a standout piece of raw, unrelenting techno that captures the essence of Boom Merchant’s sound.
