Polish duo BURN, made up of Ewa Baran and Bartosz Brzeziński, has released their new single, “NIGHT,” via Bezdech Records. The release arrives alongside a music video capturing bold moments of Poland’s landscape, featuring both Baran and Brzeziński.
“NIGHT” serves as the closing single from BURN’s forthcoming album, Chopped and Shattered, set for release later this year. The track follows last year’s single, “Pockets.”

Although BURN officially formed in 2025, both members have been active individually for years. In January last year, Baran released her 15-track solo album 262626, following her earlier work as Holy Holy, where she developed a dark electro sound with trip-hop influences.
Brzeziński is also familiar to trip-hop listeners through his solo alias DXCV3R and as part of the duo ThunderFuzz.
“NIGHT” builds around dreamy yet elegant synth chords, a filtered bassline, and a steady kick drum, anchored by Baran’s vocals. As the track progresses, the layers open up, bringing her voice forward alongside noisy arpeggios and a denser atmosphere.
