Releasing one fire after the other, British artist CASH ONLY kicks off Friday with a huge release—this time, a collaboration with London rapper and vocalist VSTRV titled “No Way.”

The track was a “secret weapon” for over the last 18 months and originally had a very different vibe, according to CASH ONLY. “This track is about 2 years old, and it started as a very different down-tempo house arrangement in the early days of getting back into the studio,” he says.

It wasn’t until later that he realised the track didn’t have the right energy to fit into his sets. “The original has a lot more vocal and is super listener-friendly at home or in the car, but didn’t have the right energy to fit into my sets.”

In late 2024, the artist reworked it into an Afro-influenced arrangement, focusing only on the main hook, and since he’s been road-testing it, it’s been a highlight in almost every set.

The single is contagious, smooth, and party-certified. It starts with a punchy kick drum, shuffling hats, filtered bassline, looped-delayed vocals, and tribal drums. It slowly builds into a euphoric breakdown that transports you to a dance club stage, where VSTRV’s voice gets introduced.

It’s all about the good vibes: forget the problems, live this moment, and enjoy life.

CASH ONLY is now enjoying global recognition. His previous singles, like “Take It Down” with Reigns and “Holy Water” feat. China Charmeleon topped the Afro House charts. He’s actively touring now—today he’ll play at Wing Rave in Marlow, UK, and next weekend at Ministry of Sound in London.

Speaking about the single, CASH ONLY says, “I’ve felt that this track has been around forever, and I can’t actually believe it is coming out! I think the most challenging part of everything I’m doing at the moment is coordinating everything and making sure dates align, especially as I work with vocalists who have their own schedules, not to mention my own one that is slammed until the end of the year.

I’m glad we have waited to get this track out and the initial feedback so far has been incredible. Make sure you all go and check the music video!”
