Fast-rising London DJ and producer Charlie Boon is set to headline XOYO’s ‘Summer Saturdays‘ series with his highly anticipated event, ‘Departures,’ on Saturday, 31st August. Known for his dynamic DJ sets and innovative tracks, Boon, a regular at XOYO’s Pleasurehood nights, will bring his signature blend of classic house and cutting-edge electronic sounds to the renowned Shoreditch venue. This event, organized in collaboration with leading UK promoters LWE, COGO, and Weird Science, is poised to be a highlight of the summer, marking the final ‘Summer Saturday’ of the season.

Charlie Boon’s rise in the music industry has been nothing short of impressive. Growing up above his father’s nightclub in St Ives, Cornwall, Boon was immersed in music from a young age. Now based in Camberwell, his work has earned him a dedicated fanbase and support from industry heavyweights like Skream, TSHA, and Eliza Rose. With his tracks receiving over 100 plays on BBC Radio 1 and performances at major festivals like Glastonbury and Boardmasters, Boon’s influence on the UK dance scene continues to grow.

The night will feature a b2b set from Junior Simba, a leading figure in the new wave of house and dance music, and Southern Fried Records’ Meg Ward. London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Kiimi and Boon’s frequent collaborator, Remedy Club, will also take the stage, ensuring a night of diverse and exhilarating performances. This event celebrates Boon’s ascent and XOYO’s commitment to delivering unparalleled nightlife experiences in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
