Japanese techno producer Chizawa Q is setting the tone for his upcoming Xenoverse album on R&S Records with the release of his second single, ‘Black Nebula.’

Following the success of the debut track ‘Beluga‘, ‘Black Nebula’ dives deeper into the experimental soundscapes of Chizawa Q, fusing Detroit techno roots with avant-garde jazz elements and futuristic textures. The track features a meticulous blend of complex rhythms and immersive atmospheres, encapsulating Chizawa’s unique sonic vision and building anticipation for the full album release in November.

‘Black Nebula’ has quickly garnered attention from the global music community, amassing support from DJs and radio stations alike. The single effortlessly transitions from breakbeat-heavy dancefloors to intense drum and bass settings, highlighting Chizawa Q’s wide-reaching versatility. The bass-heavy beat structures and intricate sonic layers create a powerful listening experience, reflecting his commitment to pushing techno boundaries while appealing to a diverse audience. With nods to breakbeat and abstract electronica, ‘Black Nebula’ proves that Chizawa’s work transcends typical techno conventions.

In describing the track, Chizawa Q shares, “Black Nebula captures that instant when someone is pulled into the unknown.” This concept of dissolution and transformation is reflected in the single’s music video, where visuals play with themes of geometry, nature, and fractals, symbolizing the fusion of sound and soul. Supported by icons like Laurent Garnier, LTJ Bukem, and DJ Heather, and with airplay on BBC Radio 6, “Black Nebula” paves the way for the highly anticipated Xenoverse album, which promises to break down industry barriers and deliver an electrifying listening experience.
