Dubai-based producer and DJ David Ramano has released his new single, “The Light I Hold,” marking the first release on his newly launched imprint, Omkara. The single officially dropped on August 1.
Ramano says the label will serve as a platform for both established and emerging artists.
Born and raised in London, Ramano’s musical roots are grounded in soulful harmonies and emotional depth. His previous releases, including “Fall” and the single “The Journey of Love,” have been supported by CamelPhat and Cosmic Gate, respectively.
While Omkara primarily focuses on Afro house, it will also explore a variety of other styles. On the label’s vision, Ramano explains: “Omkara aims to be a catalyst for immersive musical experiences, ranging from curated events to cross-genre collaborations that transcend borders.”
