Beyond Wonderland EDM event marred by a tragic shooting that claims the lives of two individuals and leaves others harmed.

Beyond Wonderland is a festival that lasts for two days and focuses on electronic dance music (EDM). The event is organized by Insomniac Events. On Saturday, the festival had a lineup of performers that included popular artists such as Dillon Francis, Zomboy, Flosstradamus, Timmy Trumpet, and Slander.

The Beyond Wonderland electronic music festival was stopped because two people were shot and killed at the nearby campground. On the night of June 18th, according to Kyle Foreman, the person in charge of sharing information with the public for the sheriff’s office, the shooter shot at a group of people in a campground that was located several hundred yards away from the festival area. The police went after the person and eventually caught them. The shooting took place at the campgrounds found near the George Amphitheatre.

Please avoid the Gorge Gate H campgrounds area as it is closed due to an incident that has been
managed by local authorities. There is no current danger to festival-goers or the campgrounds.

Before the festival was officially canceled, Canadian electronic musician Whipped Cream decided not to perform in their scheduled set as a way to show “respect” for the individuals who had tragically lost their lives.

I’m deeply sorry but I can’t perform knowing people just died here, we need to have some
respect. I’m in utter shock and I’m going to pay my respects to the families who just lost a loved
one.

In the latest update, it has been mentioned that the campground will stay open until tomorrow,
June 19, to provide a place for people to stay overnight.

Earlier this evening, there was an isolated emergency incident that occurred in a remote area of
the festival campgrounds. As a result, day 2 of Beyond Wonderland has unfortunately been
canceled.
