Desert Air Festival has teamed up with Aero, a luxe semi-private jet service that recently started flying between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, to launch the Desert Aero travel package. The partnership brings together two parties celebrating both the history and heyday of modern aviation with Desert Air’s setting at the Palm Springs Air Museum, and Aero’s current position as one of the most glamorous ways to take to the skies.
Experience a highly curated festival featuring top selectors and tastemakers including Kaytranada, Jamie xx, SG Lewis and Tove Lo presenting Club Heat, Shygirl, Sammy Virji, and more. Desert Aero offers maximum convenience by allowing fans to arrive just 20 minutes before each flight at private terminals. With only 16 seats on the jet, this experience ensures an exclusive, intimate travel experience with world-class hospitality, custom-designed cabin interiors, Starlink Wi-Fi, a premium open bar, and complimentary refreshments by Erewhon, providing a high-end experience both on the ground and in the air.
The package, priced at $2,000, includes round-trip Aero flights between Los Angeles and the Palm Springs area, along with a 2-Day VIP pass to Desert Air. Flights depart on Friday, 11/15 from Van Nuys Airport to Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport from 5:15 to 6:10pm, and returns on Sunday, 11/17 from Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport to Van Nuys Airport from 6:15 to 7:10pm.
The California desert has long provided a refuge for urban escapees and creative types drawn to its unique convergence of modern and vintage aesthetics, shimmering horizons and vibrant sunrises, and musical tradition new and old. This November, Palm Springs continues this legacy with the return of Desert Air, a journey into the future of electronic music amongst the great expanse of the Mojave. Desert Air, presented by Splash House and Goldenvoice, will bring an eclectic mix of avant garde tastemakers and genre-bending DJs to two of the region’s most idyllic open-air venues.
By day, music and cultural programming sets the stage at Palm Springs Surf Club, where poolside sets, cultural programming, water activities, and expansive food and beverage offerings await. By night, the party lands at the iconic grounds of the Palm Springs Air Museum, a destination known for positioning electronic music amidst its open-air tarmac and industrial hangers, set beneath the wings of vintage aircrafts and backdropped by the picturesque San Jacinto mountains.
