California-based producer and DJ Dianthe has released her new techno single “Fracture” today via Modular States. The track follows earlier releases “Acuity” and “Time Control,” marking her fifth release of the year.

Originally trained in classical piano and guitar, Dianthe transitioned into electronic music production after developing a strong foundation in traditional instrumentation.

“Fracture” is built around a hypnotic, modular approach, combining a driving lead with dark, atmospheric textures and evolving tension across its arrangement. The track leans into a minimalist yet energetic techno framework shaped by distorted bass elements, tight percussion, and a focus on low-end clarity and movement.

The single opens with a thumping kick and distorted bassline, layered with sharp synth sequences and delayed accents that evolve throughout the track. Its heavy, focused groove is driven by a tightly controlled low end and dynamic sound design choices that emphasize punch and momentum.

“I wanted to combine a modular, driving, hypnotic-style lead with eerie, melancholy atmospheres and see how they would play off each other,” Dianthe said.

Dianthe will celebrate the release with a European run this summer. It includes her Berlin debut at Club Birgit today, which coincides with the release of “Fracture” via Modular States. She will also perform at Fundbureau in Hamburg on June 20. Additional tour dates and releases are expected later this year.
