Italian DJ and producer DJ Tennis, born Manfredi Romano, steps into the fabric Records mix series with fabric presents DJ Tennis. The compilation features 20 tracks, including DJ Tennis’ new single “Hello Hello” and his previously released collaboration with Ashee, “I Wanna Know.”
A long-standing and respected figure in electronic music, DJ Tennis is also the founder of the influential Life and Death label, which has served as a creative home for artists such as Tale Of Us, Stephan Bodzin, Ten Walls, Mind Against, Jimi Jules, and more. Beyond his label work, he is also a co-founder of the Rakastella festival, held during Art Basel Miami.

Released today, Feb. 13, the mix opens in an ambient and experimental space, built around broken rhythms before gradually shifting into deeper house and groove-driven selections. The journey reflects DJ Tennis’ current musical mindset. “This mix reflects how I approach music today: psychedelia, sound design, and groove shaped by early rave culture and an experimental, DIY background, beyond genres or formulas,” he shared.
The compilation’s striking cover artwork — depicting a brain served on a plate — reinforces the concept behind the mix. “Every track is something I would genuinely play in Room 1, and the cover of the mix says the same thing: a brain on a plate, memory, influence, and process, exposed,” DJ Tennis added.
fabric presents DJ Tennis is available here across multiple formats, including cassette, vinyl, CD, and digital editions. For the first time in the fabric presents series, the release also includes a bonus white 10-inch vinyl, Redrago Vol. 1, available as part of select bundles.
Looking ahead, DJ Tennis is set for a busy run of shows. On Friday, Feb. 14, he will perform a special back-to-back set with Seth Troxler at Gop Tun Carnival in São Paulo. The following week, on Tuesday, Feb. 17, he will appear at Carnavara 2026 in Rio de Janeiro alongside Carl Craig, Seth Troxler, Magda, and more.
