Russia-born, now Dubai-based electronic music duo Far&High have launched their new record label, Unheard Music, debuting the imprint with a collaborative single, “Rabbit Hole,” alongside pizzaaftersex, and remixes by Sasha Carassi and Gorge.
With more than 25 years of experience each in electronic dance music, the members of Far&High have carved a reputation for defying convention — steering clear of repetitive formulas and commercial trends. Their new label continues that philosophy, championing creative risk-taking and individuality.
“Far&High is a sum of our experience and vision,” the duo explains. “We don’t want to repeat ourselves — we want to surprise our listeners every time.”
The collaboration with pizzaaftersex grew out of a studio session where experimentation led to the track’s central tone, which later became the foundation for “Rabbit Hole.” The single serves as both a creative statement and the launchpad for Unheard Music’s ethos.
The label’s mission is to give artists complete creative freedom with only two key criteria: the music must be danceable and must break away from the artist’s typical sound. Far&High emphasizes that Unheard Music welcomes both established and emerging talent, with plans to develop a network of sister sublabels offering space for artists whose work may not fit the main imprint.
“We want to build a strong community of artists and listeners who value originality over predictability,” they add. “By changing how music is selected — free from stylistic boundaries — we hope to inspire a shift in how creativity is perceived in this industry.”
