Hi Farzam, thanks for joining us today. How are you doing, and where are you based right now?

I’m doing great, thank you. I’m in Istanbul at the moment — a city full of energy and contrasts that never fails to inspire me. Between my music and visual projects, I’m lucky to be surrounded by creativity every day.

It’s been nearly a year since your last official release, Ascend Code, which we had the pleasure of premiering. What led to the long gap between releases?

I wanted to take a step back and grow, both musically and personally. Ascend Code marked a chapter of awakening for me, and “Echo” continues that story from a deeper space. I believe every release should carry a real vibration, not just sound. I needed time to evolve, to listen, and to discover the next frequency that truly represents who I’ve become.

Your new single “Echo” just dropped today, and it has a deep, ethereal, hypnotic feel. What inspired this track?

Echo” is about reflection — how everything we send out, whether emotion or sound, eventually returns in a new form. It’s like a conversation between the soul and the universe. I wanted to create a sense of space, memory, and repetition that leads to awareness — a sound that feels infinite yet deeply personal.

The breakdown really stands out with its progressive bassline and lush synths. How did you approach creating that section?

That section came together naturally. The bassline and synths began breathing together, and I realized that was the heart of the track. It was a moment of pure intuition.

You’ve been DJing since 2015 and producing since 2021. How does expressing yourself as a DJ differ from doing so as a producer?

DJing connects me with people, while producing connects me with the universe. On stage, I translate emotion into energy; in the studio, I transform energy into sound. DJing is about reading the crowd, whereas producing is about exploring the inner geometry of the self.

What’s your musical story — how did you first get into electronic music and realize this was the path you wanted to follow?

My roots are in rock and metal, which is where my love for sound and emotion began. In the early 2000s, artists like Robert Miles, Tiësto, and Infected Mushroom opened a new world for me, music that was both emotional and boundless.

Around 2012 to 2013, I discovered Recondite, Mind Against, and Vaal, and that is when I truly connected with deep techno. That period shaped my identity and marked the real beginning of my musical journey.

Besides music, what else keeps you busy these days? Do you have any hobbies or passions outside of producing and performing?

I work on visual storytelling through fashion, film, and conceptual art that blends geometry, emotion, and human energy. I love creating entire worlds around sound. For me, everything, including music, visuals, and symbols, comes from the same source of consciousness.

Looking ahead, what are your plans for the next few months? Are you focusing on new music or preparing for live shows?

I am finalizing new singles and preparing a live show that blends sound, visuals, and performance into a fully immersive experience. I want to go beyond a traditional DJ set and create something that people can feel with their whole being. I am also working on a new melodic techno track featuring a female vocal narration about our world, politics, and life philosophy, which I believe will resonate deeply with both artists and listeners.

Is there a specific sound or direction you are looking to explore next?

I am drawn to more organic frequencies, blending analog warmth with digital consciousness. I want my music to feel alive, breathing, and evolving with the listener.

Finally, what is one dream collaboration or goal you hope to achieve in the near future?

I want to work with artists who think beyond genres, people who see music as vibration, energy, and a tool for awareness. My dream is to connect different worlds through sound and vision and to remind people that we are all part of the same frequency. If I had to name specific artists, I would love to collaborate one day with Mind Against, Fideles, or Recondite, as their sound has always resonated deeply with my artistic journey.
