FAZE X and iQoniK Team Up on ‘Wanna Be’ via Future Records

FAZE X and iQoniK don’t leave much room to breathe on “Wanna Be,” and that’s exactly the point. The collab on Hexagon’s Future Records sublabel opens on an uplifting progressive chord progression, building anticipation slowly before the bottom drops out. And when it does, it commits: sharp breakbeats, a distorted main synthline, and a sub bassline that wobbles with purpose.

The snare crack lands right, the bass movement stays musical rather than just heavy, and there’s enough atmosphere in the spaces between elements to keep the arrangement feeling intentional. Energetic without being careless, this one would sit comfortably in any serious set.
