Jacob Groening’s record label, Kamai Music, has released a mesmerizing new EP by Berlin-based producers Felix E and Michael Ritter. Felix E and Michael Ritter are no strangers to working together, having collaborated on remixes and releases for labels like Discotexas and Minds Alike. As solo artists, they have also built strong individual portfolios. Felix E brings an organic and Afro-influenced style, having worked with labels such as Lump Records, while Michael Ritter’s sound leans toward progressive house, with releases on Mango Alley and Obenmusik. Their combined styles create a dynamic fusion that is both innovative and engaging.
The EP features two standout tracks, ‘Tagträume’ and ‘Eklat.’ ‘Tagträume’delivers a minimalist soundscape with meandering synths and spoken word vocals by Sister Sol, creating a hypnotic, introspective vibe. ‘Eklat’ follows with a deeper groove, combining Afro-inspired percussion and poignant melodies.
