Kalkbrenner — the younger brother of Paul Kalkbrenner — previously worked as a music journalist for a decade before transitioning fully into music. In 2008, he and his brother collaborated on the soundtrack for the tragicomedy film Berlin Calling, which produced the 2008 hit “Sky and Sand.”
Since then, he has continued releasing albums, touring, and performing across Germany, Poland, the U.K., Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and more.
The official music video for “Calling You” is available on Kalkbrenner’s YouTube channel.
This Saturday, he is scheduled to perform at Downtown Barcelona, joined by Agatha, Pher, MøønkiZa, Frucula, and additional acts.
