German Brigante returns to Sol Selectas with his third EP, a captivating four-track release seamlessly fusing the soulful nuances of flamenco with grandiose synths and rhythmic percussion.

Situated in Spain, German Brigante boasts a musical career spanning over a decade, marked by a dynamic evolution in his sound. While his timeless releases found a home on esteemed labels like Get Physical in the past, his recent musical ventures showcase melodic compositions on renowned imprints such as Monaberry and Bar 25. Adding to his repertoire, German Brigante serves as the driving force behind Manitox, his well-regarded record label.

The release begins with ‘Acido Azul‘, featuring an old-school acid house bassline, layered with synths and uplifting Spanish vocals for an enchanting vibe. The feel-good atmosphere is complemented by upbeat percussion rhythms and subtle bursts of flamenco guitar. Following is ‘Açai‘ with a thickset bassline laying the foundation for a finger-picked flamenco guitar and a fluttering flute, contributing to the track’s sun-drenched sound. ‘Será el Flamenco‘ introduces a deep bassline and emotive Spanish vocals, creating an epic sound with powerful melodies and samba-style percussion. Closing the release is ‘Inquietud’ with a downtempo groove and acid bassline. Sweeping strings, sensual vocals, a mesmerizing flute, and an alluring guitar combine for a seductive sound.
