After the success of ‘Lullaby EP’, Paris-based GIGEE returns to Mobilee with a brand new EP.
GIGEE is an exciting new face on the scene who is quickly making her mark and is becoming a mainstay behind the decks at the world’s most exclusive clubs. Her debut EP ‘Reborn Pulse‘, released on Berlin’s Katermukke, charted in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno top 100 charts within days of release and was included in a Spotify playlist by techno veteran Charlotte de Witte. For years, the Polish-born musician and entrepreneur have immersed herself in practically every facet of the electronic music ecosystem, learning what it takes to be a successful producer, music professional, and, of course, a pioneering DJ.
Her homecoming to Mobilee Records portrays a message of personal liberation through dance, no matter where we come from.
“Berlin” depicts the story of old walls that, despite their concrete and dreary appearance, radiate warmth. Driving beats and sublime moments combine with the tongue-in-cheek hilarity and craziness that a long night into day delivers here.
The following track, “Grindeveld“, takes the listener on a lighter but no less significant journey, replete with its pounding drums. “Azurblau“, the EP’s final track, features a deep rhythm and a chaotic narrative of peaking synths.
