Producer and DJ Goosey makes his debut on Jamie Jones‘ imprint Hot Creations with a standout Funky S—T EP.
Harrey Goossens, better known as Goosey, has been making serious waves over the past year. With releases on prestigious labels like Kaluki, Revival, Hottrax, and Take Notes, he’s quickly earned respect in the house music scene. His tracks have gained support from some of electronic music’s biggest names, including Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Pawsa, Marco Carola, and The Martinez Brothers.
The EP kicks off with the title track, featuring Toronto producer Dope Earth Alien. It’s a high-energy house roller with punchy drums, a gliding bassline, and sultry vocals.
“To The Bass” follows up as a more club-focused cut, loaded with a pulsating bassline, crisp drums, and prolific vocals that hit just right.
One of the EP’s most iconic moments came last summer at Creamfields 2024, where Hot Creations label boss Jamie Jones dropped “Funky S—T” to a massive crowd response. The track has been rinsed countless times by Jones, solidifying its status as a certified club weapon.
Goosey reflects on the release:
“I grew up listening to Hot Creations, so releasing an EP on the label is a dream come true and something I’ve worked towards from the start. Jamie’s heavy support of both tracks last year makes this release even more special, and I’m beyond grateful and excited to share them on such an iconic label.”
