Only a few days left until spring officially arrives, and Australia’s dance music scene is heating up. Connor Grant, aka HARLEY GIRL, just dropped his dazzling new house single, “do it like that.”

Celebrating his fifth release as HARLEY GIRL, Connor is also known for producing under his Akurei alias and managing the Sumoclic record label.

The track is packed with high energy—bouncy basslines, punchy drums, powerful toms, and hypnotic vocal loop. “‘do it like that’ feels a lot more ‘me,’” he shares. “I love tracks that make you wanna bounce, and I feel like this one really does.”

When Grant is not producing, he’s working—but music is always on his mind. “Lately, I find the most exciting ideas come in the 15-minute windows on my laptop in my car between work,” he says.

This Saturday, March 1, he’ll play his first set on the Gold Coast at Burleigh Brewing Co for Appropriate, followed by an evening set in Meanjin/Brisbane for Lost Files.
