Argentine DJ and producer Hernán Cattáneo has announced a 24-hour marathon set at Stereo in Montreal, Quebec, taking place on Saturday, November 22. He’ll be joined by German producer Patrice Bäumel and Stereo resident DJ Kora for an all-day, all-night celebration.
The event marks Stereo’s 26th anniversary, a milestone for the legendary venue that first opened its doors in 1998. The club has faced its share of challenges over the years — including two arson attacks in 2008 and 2009 that forced temporary closures — but has since remained one of North America’s most respected institutions for underground house and techno.
“We’re grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey. To many more years ahead,” the club shared in a statement.
Last night, Cattáneo performed at Return to Rio in Brisbane alongside Jamie Stevens and Graziano Raffa. Today, he’s playing at the Beach Hotel in Byron Bay, and tomorrow he’ll wrap up his Australian tour at the Interstellar Groove Festival in Tallarook — one month before his marathon set at Stereo in Montreal.
