After a successful hit ‘Midnight (The Hanging Tree),’ German DJ and Producer HOSH unveils another melodic house anthem ‘Song To The Siren,’ which is out now via Three Six Zero Recordings.

As a precursor to his biggest track to date, HOSH scored ‘Midnight (The Hanging Tree) ft. Jalja with 1979‘ in 2020, which amassed over 59M streams and was listed as the No. 4 most played music on BBC Radio 1‘s daytime playlist. The new song comes after ‘Tighter‘ from the previous year, which had a CamelPhat remix that received more than 2 million streams.

HOSH‘s devotion to music has allowed him to establish himself as a true tastemaker on the scene for more than a decade as he demonstrates his varied and sophisticated aural pallet. Since his early membership in Diynamic with Solomun and Stimming, the German producer with an Ibiza base has achieved multiple hits and label signings over the years, acting as the ideal fuel for his production to reach new heights.

HOSH has transformed Tim Buckley’s ‘Song to the Siren‘ (later covered and released by This Mortal Coil in 1983) into a completely new slice of melodic house heaven while capturing the delicate writing and vocals of the originals. The new single has already received support from industry pioneer Pete Tong, who has been spinning it in club sets. HOSH speaks about the release: “Song To The Siren’ is a song for the ages. Delicate in the hands of its original writer Tim Buckley, otherworldly in the hands of its most storied cover by This Mortal Coil. Always emotional, melancholic, beautiful. Like the lyrical Siren it has always spoken to me and I felt that it could really be meaningful once more given a melodic electronic reworking.”
