Ruben Karapetyan is a proud Armenian born in Yerevan & raised in LA, California.


A veteran DJ who got his first pair of decks 3 decades back, he has been influenced by the ‘90s rave movement, as well as top notch pioneers of the Electronic Music industry such as Sasha, John Digweed, and Nick Warren amongst others!

Dubbed as Armenia’s Top Electronic export back from the late ‘90s by Zrutsaser, one of the biggest Music/Entertainment magazines at that time in Armenia, getting him on their front-cover, while previously hosting musicians & artists such as Madonna, Eminem, ao..!

In 2020 Ruben’s name get known to the modern electronic music industry with a big signing on Greek imprint of Movement Recordings, receiving massive remix treatment by heroes of Progressive House such as Stan Kolev & Emi Galvan in his ‘Gignesthai’ single that came in November, while his 2nd release entitled ‘Hathor’ including remixes by Matan Caspi & Stan Kolev has reached #1 on Beatport’s Top10 prog releases & #6 overall genres, with Rub’s original & Matan’s remix entering the Top10 tracks and remaining in top-selling charts for more than a month.. In 2021 Ruben signs with UK-based Lowbit Records with ‘Teardrop’ & ‘Karo’ following in Spring 2021 with some massive remix treatment by Paul Angelo & Don Argento, and Alfonso Muchacho.

Focusing on new joints & studio projects, Ruben is focusing in combining traditional sounds of his motherland together with modern electronic beats & pieces as well as remixing legendary musicians & electronic music producers! Till the global pandemic’s ended, he remains focused on his studio projects with plans for post-covid dj tours to take place soon, so keep an eye on him & stay tuned for new releases & projects by Ruben Karapetyan, who’s here to stay!
